YAS4US Guide / Returning to the Circle
Section 6

Returning to the Circle

Honoring human traditions of re-tribalizing and gathering.

From ancient fireside councils to modern forums, humans have always gathered in circles to share what is difficult, true, and alive. YAS4US honors that lineage while adding its own distinct voice: re-tribalized, accessible, and rooted in upliftment, connection, and sustainability.

To step into YAS4US is to join that great continuum of human practice: an ongoing story of people choosing to meet each other deeply, and in doing so, shaping a more whole future.

The larger invitation is not only to practice YAS4US as described here, but to make communal connection itself a priority. Every community can benefit from rituals that bring people together with honesty, imagination, and courage. YAS4US can be one such form, or simply an inspiration. We encourage you to adapt it, transform it, or even invent your own practices, using the cultural materials and traditions at hand, much like permaculture builds with the resources native to the land.

And practices such as this are meant to be woven into a larger context of personal development, as integration can take many forms: through journaling, gentle movement, or small group reflection, as well as shared meals, quiet time, or simply returning to daily life with new perspectives.

When practices of this kind are tended with care, they help communities flourish, sustain themselves, and move together toward their collective dreams.
